Vintage Wooden Storage Chest Box #404

A vintage solid wood storage chest with lid which can also be sat on as a bench.
 
I believe it may have come from a boat as it has several layers of varnish on it and is weathered. It has been cleaned up and could now be used as a toy storage chest or out in the garden for tools etc.
 
Estimating it to be 1960's-70's ca.
