Antique Metal Coat Hook

A late Victorian / early 20th-century wall-mounted metal coat hook, originally salvaged from an old school.
 
The hook features the original number 100, secured in place with four screws.
 
The distressed black finish contrasts beautifully with the cast aluminium numbered plaque, giving the piece plenty of character and an authentic utilitarian feel.
 
This is the last one available from the original set, making it a particularly unusual piece of schoolhouse memorabilia. Perfect for a hallway, boot room, cloakroom or mudroom, or simply displayed as a decorative piece of architectural salvage.
 
A wonderfully characterful survivor with a great industrial feel and plenty of history.
