Vintage Retro Art Deco Side Table #537

This is a great side table or hallway table in the deco style. It looks as though it may have originally been for a telephone to sit on. 
 
It has two sets of clips down the back legs to hide cables, I am assuming one side for the telephone cable and one for a lamp cable.
 
It also features a shallow drawer perhaps to display telephone numbers.
 
1950-60s ca.
 
Some slight scuffs on the corners. Strong and sturdy.
