Vintage Industrial Coffee Table Storage Box Trunk

A vintage wooden military storage chest.
 
It features some metal clips to hold the lid on and there is a rope at either end originally used as handles.
 
There are now some new hairpin legs making it suitable for storage or as a coffee table.
 
The wood has a lot of historic woodworm which I have treated just as a precaution and it is strong and sturdy.
 
Dated underneath 1943.
