Vintage Glass Bookcase Cabinet

A vintage wooden bookcase dating from the 1970s, with a clean, functional design and subtle period detailing. It features three fixed shelves, with the lower section enclosed behind sliding glass doors, ideal for keeping books or display items dust-free.
 
The upper two shelves would originally have had glass doors, which have been removed at some stage, giving the piece a more open and practical feel. The bookcase is finished with a gallery edge to the top, adding both character and usefulness, and it tapers slightly towards the top, giving it a nicely balanced profile.
 
There is a small repair to the right-hand corner of the top shelf, which is not very noticeable. Overall, the unit is very solid and sturdy, and in nice, clean condition, with surface marks throughout consistent with age and regular use.
 
A versatile mid-century piece, well suited to books, display items, or collectibles, and easy to place in a variety of interiors.

Delivery Details
Delivery will be 1 man, ground floor, kerbside and will be 1-2 weeks (or sooner).
If you are unable to assist the courier and require 2 man delivery then there may be an additional charge.
Deliveries within a Congestion Zone will be an additional £15.
