Vintage Gentlemans Oak Wardrobe

A vintage gentleman’s wardrobe dating from around the 1950s, designed in an earlier Gothic style. The interior is well fitted with a series of cubby holes, which still retain their original labels. It also includes a pull-out hanging rail, tie rack, and trouser rack, making it a very practical storage piece. Inside there is also a maker’s label for Heathland Furniture.
 
The wardrobe is constructed from oak and oak veneer with a teak interior, finished in a dark wood stain that has worn nicely over time. The interior is clean and tidy and presents well.
 
Dating from the Utility Furniture Scheme period in the United Kingdom (circa 1942–1952). On the rear you can just about see the UK Board of Trade stamp, confirming its production during the World War II era.
 
Overall, it is in good vintage condition. There are various scuffs, marks, and signs of wear to the exterior consistent with age and use, which add to its character.
 
A practical and stylish storage piece that would work well in a bedroom, hallway, or as a compact wardrobe in a smaller space. It is also a very solid and well-made piece.

Delivery Details
Delivery will be 1 man, ground floor, kerbside and will be 1-2 weeks (or sooner).
If you are unable to assist the courier and require 2 man delivery then there may be an additional charge.
Deliveries within a Congestion Zone will be an additional £15.
