Antique Glazed Display Cabinet Solid Wood Bookcase with Adjustable Shelves

An antique glazed display cabinet dating from the early 20th century, crafted from solid wood and fitted with its original thick glass doors. With its simple proportions and practical interior, this versatile cabinet is ideal for displaying books, china, collectibles or decorative objects.
 
The cabinet features two full-height glazed doors enclosing adjustable wooden shelves. The shelves can be repositioned to suit your needs and are secured using traditional shelf brackets, which are held in place with small nails.
 
At some point in its life, the cabinet appears to have been sympathetically adapted.
The top has been extended, and decorative carved wooden appliqués, including carved initials, have been added above each door, giving the piece a distinctive appearance and adding to its history. Some of the carvings on the left door are missing.
 
The cabinet is exceptionally strong and sturdy and remains in good antique condition. It displays the expected marks, wear and patina associated with its age, all of which contribute to its authentic character.

Delivery Details
Delivery will be 1 man, ground floor, kerbside and will be 1-2 weeks (or sooner).
If you are unable to assist the courier and require 2 man delivery then there may be an additional charge.
Deliveries within a Congestion Zone may incur an additional £15.
